This vintage morganite ring is such an elegant addition to any jewelry collection. It's crafted from sterling silver, with a square cut morganite stone. Morganite is a variety of beryl, known for its peachy color. There are many colors of beryl, but when this variety was discovered, the chief gemologist at Tiffany & Co. named it "Morganite" after J.P. Morgan, the famed financier who was an avid collector of gemstones who donated much of his collection to the American Museum of Natural History. Morganite is known for its healing powers, specifically connecting one to divine love. The center stone is accented by tiny marcasite stones, which closely imitate the sparkle of black diamonds and further emphasize the pale beauty of the morganite. The finished effect is a combination of 1930s Art Deco and early 1950s Retro jewelry. It is a US ring size 8 (could be resized within reason) and is hallmarked 925 for sterling silver, with a "MO" maker's mark.

Great vintage condition.  Please note that the gemstones have not been tested by a laboratory. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email for additional photos or measurements, as all sales are final.
