Vintage Versace Fall 2005 Bandage Trumpet Skirt
Vintage Versace Fall 2005 Bandage Trumpet Skirt
This vintage Versace Fall 2005 bandage trumpet skirt is Y2K Versace at its finest— and Donatella Versace in all her glory. It was made in Italy, and is so well-crafted, made of a really luxe stretch jersey for a "bandage" effect. There are trompe l'oeil details throughout, giving the effect of seams and pockets. It's fitted through the hips and then flares into an asymmetrical trumpet shape, which accentuates the hourglass shape of the hips in a really sexy way. I love that this piece is completely seasonless, in a neutral color: you could easily style for summer weather with a little top, or layer and wear with boots as shown on the runway.
The Vintage Silk Chiffon Embellished Butterfly Sleeve Top pictured is also available.
Measurements: It is not meant to sit at the natural waist but rather a "mid rise" (not right at the hips either). Shown pinned on a size X-Small to simulate the proper fit but it will best fit a size Medium or Large. Fabric naturally stretches and it is meant to be tightly fitted.
Waistband: 28.5" laid flat, up to nearly 30" pulled taut (see above notes on rise)
Hips: 37" laid flat, up to 46" pulled taut
Length: 17.25" at shortest point of asymmetrical hem (21.25" at longest point)
Great vintage condition, with minor wear to fabric commensurate with age. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email shop@verybreezy.com for additional photos or measurements, as all sales are final.
