These vintage 1940s statement earrings are so glamorous, conjuring images of Old Hollywood screen sirens. They feature gorgeous hand-set crystals, with larger rose-cut crystal drops. The movement is wonderful. These feature a French earring clip (clip-on) in the back— they really don't make earrings like this anymore because it's a very expensive and labor-intensive construction technique for costume jewelry, but it makes the earring SO much more comfortable, and lightweight on the earlobe— it stays in place firmly, without weighing on the ear. Note that one earring does not have two of the smaller drops as shown, but it just looks like an asymmetrical earring when worn. Measures 8.5 cm long.
