These vintage Christian Dior earrings exude Art Deco elegance, thanks to the black enamel details and sharp linear design. Made in the 1970s, the huggie-shaped curved earrings feature a bold black enamel façade, with crystals flanking either side in wide gold channels. What's amazing about this pair is that they can be worn on the earlobe, or higher on the cartilage, and are thus great for layering with other earrings. They are finished with a clip-on lever back, and are very lightweight and comfortable to wear, due to their strategic construction. Vintage clip-ons are so much more comfortable and secure to wear compared to their modern counterparts, largely due to the quality and thought that went into their hand-made construction. The back is also hollow, in a convex shape, to rid the earring of excess mass and weight. Measure 29 mm long x 17 mm wide.
