Vintage Emanuel Ungaro Suede Skirt
Vintage Emanuel Ungaro Suede Skirt
Circa 2000, this Emanuel Ungaro suede skirt has all the makings of a Y2K classic, with a mid-rise that sits below the natural waists, and a slight trumpet shape. The ochre-colored suede is so unbelievably soft, and the color is so versatile. There is contrasting stitch detail at the slightly-flared trumpet hem. It's meant to sit lower than the natural waist, with darts at the waistband keeping it fitted through the hips. It is so thoughtfully made and well constructed— thanks to a seam with excess material above the the bottom piece, it is easy to make the skirt shorter or longer (if needed/based on your height) without disturbing details at the hem (see picture). The skirt is lined, made in Italy for Emanuel Ungaro main label.
The Vintage 1970s Impressionist Floral Print Shirt, Vintage Silk Chiffon Watercolor Floral Blouse, and Vintage Graphic Print Pussybow Blouse pictured are also available.
