This dreamy vintage eyelet eyelet gown features romantic red embroidery, which pops against the ivory. It has a bustier bodice, complete with cups at the chest— there is a small amount of hidden elastic strategically placed on each side of the bodice to create the perfect corset-like fit. A sash belt defines the waist, forming a bow in the back. The skirt is full, complete with a flared V panel in the back, the shape of which is accented by red piping and pleated ruffle trim. Horsehair in the hem gives the skirt that really beautiful sweep and movement. It is fully lined, and I love that the lining is a slightly more eggshell hue, to really allow the beauty of the fabric to shine.
