This vintage lace dress features a heart-shaped cutout at the high neckline— it comes with a matching white slip, but i also love it worn sheer. (See last images to see it with slip.) It makes an amazing dress to layer over aa swim suit in a beachy setting, but I also love experimenting with other layers underneath, such as a romantic vintage slip, contrasting black high-waisted briefs and bra, or even a basic nude slip. It makes a great vintage option for a bride– the perfect look for a beachy wedding event, welcome lunch, etc.— and one that you will wear over and over again in the future. Made in the 1980s, the dress laces up the back, and can be pulled tighter or worn with the laces looser, making the fit very adjustable, meaning it will fit a wide range of sizes. I love the 1930s-inspired silhouette, with the fluttered cape sleeves. The neckline features a heart-shaped locket-esque charm, and it fastens in the front with custom matching lace buttons.
