Vintage Rococo Porcelain Earrings
Vintage Rococo Porcelain Earrings
These dreamy earrings give a Princess-Core-meets-Bridgerton vibe, featuring a porcelain painting by Jean Honore Fragonard. Fragonard was a Rococo artist prolific in the latter half of the 18th Century, Marie Antoinette's over-the-top heyday. Like much Rococo art, his work was romantic and often depicted courting couples, as seen here, but his work was especially noted for its display of exuberance and hedonism. The porcelain scene is beautifully set with ornate gold prongs, surrounded by a halo of seed pearls. Made in Germany the 1960s (hallmarked West Germany). Finished with a clip-on back, measures 20 mm long x 18 mm wide. The matching Vintage Rococo Pendant Choker is also available; I am offering a separate price to sell them as a set.
Great vintage condition, with minor wear commensurate with age. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email shop@verybreezy.com for additional photos or measurements, as all sales are final.
