This vintage 1950s white tiered petticoat skirt is so wonderfully romantic, yet somehow so versatile enough to become a wardrobe staple. Inspired by late victorian and Edwardian lawn skirts, this skirt feature three tiers of ruffled flounces, creating volume. The cotton fabric has just the right amount of stiffness to it, loaning itself so well to this structure, as it really holds its shape and just looks so crisp yet romantic. The tiers have little fine tulle trim on the edges, which adds to the effect. It fastens on the side with a row of snaps and button at waistband.
